Telephone Service/Cable/Internet
Cox Communications –Just call the office.  We can help you! Your apartment is ready for phone service with Cox Communications (or any other provider you chose).    Village Park at Woodgate has a contract with Cox Communications to offer a special incentive to residents at only Village Park at Communities.  Ask a leasing professional for details.    We can sign you up so that you can take advantage of these terrific specials.  

Trash
Woodgate gladly pays for your trash!  Please put trash in dumpsters conveniently located throughout the community.  The collectors will not pick up anything outside of the dumpsters.  Any person(s) that leave trash on the ground will be charged a pick up fee of fifty dollars ($50) per item.  Should you have any bulk items (couches, furniture, Christmas trees, etc) that need to be disposed of, please contact the leasing center.  Do not put these items in the trash dumpsters.  The charge is fifty dollars ($50) per item.   

Electricity Service
Westar Energy provides all of our residents with their electric needs.  Westar should have been contacted prior to move-in.  Should you have overlooked this very important step, please contact them at 383-8600.  Per your rental agreement, you are required to keep your electricity on-without lapse-until your rental agreement is over.  

Water
As part of our dedication to our residents, our water billing system is made very easy. It is simply a flat fee that you add on to your rent each month. We base this amount on what size of apartment you choose to live in. Studio $13.00, 1 bd. $15.00, 2 bd. $18.00, 2 bd townhome $26, Large 2 bd. townhome $28.00, and 3 bd. townhome $28.00. If you have any questions regarding billing system please feel free to contact the office. 

Laundry
Village Park at Woodgate has a laundry facility located in each building on the garden level.  Please be sure to remove your clothes from the machine after each use.  Should you have any questions or problems with the machines you may either call the Woodgate office or Jetz, our laundry vendor, at 263-1037.  

Parking
Woodgate does have reserved covered parking. There is a $20 per month charge in order to have a covered parking spot reserved for you. However, one covered parking spot does come with the rental of a town home. All other uncovered designated parking spots are first come first serve. There is no parking along any painted curbs as these are designated fire lanes. There is also no parking in any handicapped stalls, as well as no parking in any covered spot unless it is your designated spot that you are paying for on a monthly basis. Vehicles that are inoperable, appear to be abandoned, damaged, or have expired tags, may be booted and/or tagged and then towed at the owners expense.  

Renter’s Insurance
Village Park at Woodgate’s insurance policy only covers the things in the apartment that belong to them and the outsides of the buildings. Therefore, your belongings are not covered. Renter’s insurance is an affordable way to insure that your belongings can be recovered should something happen to them. You can contact your current insurance provider for more details about renters insurance, or if you do not currently have an insurance provider, the office staff would be happy to give you information on how to obtain one.  

Courtesy Patrol
Village Park at Woodgate does have courtesy patrol that does patrol the property throughout the evening hours. You can contact them as well as the police for any disturbances or suspicious activity.    

Rent Day
Rent is due on the 1st of the month and is considered late as of the 6th. Rent not received by 9:00 a.m. on the 6th will be considered late and you will be charged a $50 late fee.(This means it has to be in before we open on the 6th)   For each additional day the rent goes unpaid an additional $5 fee will be charged to the account.  The late fees will continue to accrue until the rental amount is paid in full. Should rent not be received by the 10th of the month, a legal notice will be sent to our attorney and eviction proceedings will begin.      

Pets
Village Park at Woodgate is proud to be a pet friendly community.   With no pet weight limit, we allow pets BIG or small!    A $200 pet deposit per pet(non-refundable) gets you started and only $20 per pet rent per month will allow you to keep your pet in compliance with our regulations.   We have pet stations located throughout our community for your convenience.    Contact our leasing specialists for more information.    Breed restrictions do apply.
